Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American businesswoman for more than twenty years. The current president is and the controlling owner for the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California and grew up as an heir to a prestigious family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon before becoming the owner of the Lakers. After her parents divorced in 1972, she began to feel in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. As she turned 19 old, she joined the family's business, serving as director of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers, she served as president of Great Western Forum. Buss as well as her five sisters took over his Lakers control following the passing of Busshis father in the year 2013. Each of the sisters had an equal voice. Buss assumed the role as the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles, an organization that is a pro-wrestling organization.
